Sugar n spice & all that's nice!!

Ok, long time.. Went to the sea on Saturday with Bhaiyya n cousin..It was a good trip..And even though the sun was right infront of me, it was quite windy.. Hot n cold at the same time, thats how life is at times, you feel happy and sad at the same time..Shayed isi lioye khushi ke ansoo nikaltey hain..It was a long time since I last visited the sea..Imagine living in a coastal city and not going to the sea often, maybe cuz its always so crowded..Karachiites could never leave the sea alone, their specialty!! :P Saturdays and sundays at the sea are always full, good thing we went at 5 p.m. it wasn't too full. Had hot tea and felt the chilly winds..Ajeeb combo, but noinetheless fun..Even the tea couldnt make us warm..Left early form there cuz had to reach home.. Such trips soemtimes really make up a person's mood..Everyone should go oUttTT..

It was here, the big day he had waited for ever since he had seen those kids in grad. gowns and caps, he had said, " Don't they look so sophisticated?!! " , she had agreed, and they both waited for it, waited desperately!! He stood there shaking hands with his classmates, friends and family..Each of them shook his hand vigorously, patted him on the back, but none of the hands had that touch..He searched for it, but to no avail.. Wasnt it just a matter of few months back, when they discussed what they'd do on his graduation day..He stood and he thought, and as he thought he tried to search for it, he tried to find that hand, but he couldn't find it. He couldn't find the hand that rocked his cradle and the hand that rules his world!!

Being a Karachiite, I have passed this hotel on my way to different areas too many times, though I have been inside prolly twice..I thought of capturing it!! The first pic was taken around Ramadhan, so it has an Eid cake banner on display!! and the lighting and everything looked simply amazing!! Karachi is not only dusty, it has a lot more to it..Hotels like this tend to give it a glittering look, so that it fulfills its label, Roshniyoun ka Shaher, The City of Lights. I was planning to take pics of Marriot Hotel, but because of it being in a high security zone, it didn't seem appropriate!!

I am not a person who has to say Belated happy b'day always, but sometimes it happens accidentally.. One of my closest friend had her big day on 23rd dec...since an year, I was having trouble keepin it in mind if it is 23 or 24..well, so once just a week b4 23rd, I asked her, she said 23rd..so there.. *time passes* its 11:59 p.m, 23rd Dec... *few more seconds* its 00:10 a.m, 24th Dec.. I am excited, lol, I had created a superb draft text for her, which I quickly sent to her, after which I had planned 2 call her...Just within a minute, I recvd a reply.. "Thanks but my bday was on 23rd" BAnG!!!! I thought she was joking, sic eshe knew how I was confused..Khair, I called her just to find out that I was late, too late.. But some people know, you dont have to explain it to them, she knew..:) and thats what matters at the end of the day.. ------ Another similar incident, though not quite!! Okaaaayyyyy, so today was my last final, finally!!!!! And teh best part was that it went good, and the funny part was that we were supposed to take it in Homeconomics lab. and while we were taking it,a CAT entered. It started wandering here and there, beneath chairs and beside legs, and where not. Well, here is the funniest part, some girls started shrieking, LOL...c'monnn, its your exam going on and you are screaming all because of a cat....Me n my friends had a good laugh..For the first time I realized that poor cats!! they get screamed at whereever they go.. But it was fun, exactly what is needed by most students to shrug off the tension and be at ease....

That is it, an artificial waterfall...but containing nature at its best!!
