Sugar n spice & all that's nice!!

Hey ya!! ;) today i want to write abt me and my books.. what purpose do books serve exactly??? Books are basically a refuge from the outside world... when you read a book, you are suddenly in a new world altogether.. I used to read so many books when I was young, on the one hand I am proud of it, and on the other I am upset, 'cause books make you believe impractical things as well.. My first ever book was "Cinderella". Dad took me to buy it. It started as a school assignment.. I even remember which book my best friend brought... "Ali Baba and 40 Thieves." =) Since then, I never looked back.. With Mum's interest in books too, I accumulated lots of Enid Blyton, Readers Digest with me!! Back in the days, I used to crave Enid Blyton books.. she is still my fave!! Loved reading her Malory Towers, St. Clares, Naughtiest Girl, Enchanted Tree, Faraway land, Secret Seven, Famous Five, Five Findouters, Noddy, Brer Rabbit.. I loved them all like anything.. Tujh mein Rabb dikhta hai, yaara mein kya karoon!!!! i so agree with this line.. Allah has recommended us to creat Godly qualities in us!! so this goes with it!!!! though sajday wali baat kuch ajeeb hai!! kaheen shirk na ho jaye!! khair.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------is ke ilawa.. hmm i just love typing roman urdu!!! its immense fun.. donno why, but considering chaps out there may hav trouble m stickin to English.. i'm so out of reading n all that at times i feel i m losing all my vocab n all!!! guess what!! my letter got published.. yoohoooo!!! it s a small step out of the 1000 step ladder.. hahaha dream cum true... so i m concentratin on reading.. used to be an avid reader!!!! got so many books from london.. did i mention i went out!!?? :P london, paris, milano, venice, zurich!!! it was totally fabulous!! each place now holds a special place!! i can not forget the snow in switz!! the snow fights we had... ooohoohhohooooooooo...

Books books and even more books!!!! books were a part of me.. there was a time, sorry not juts a time, all the time.. when i was so engrossed in books that i barely blinked while reading.. i loved reading so much, it became a passion!! and then i moved away from reading when i indulged more in life.. but i still have a passion for reading.. so.. guess what, this year on my birthday i rcvd 3 books.. and i wanted them badly.. hehe one of thems Shantaram.. good.. not yet completed though 3 cups of Tea.. awesome book and Brida by the famous alchemist writer.. with books i always like the names of book store.. back in karachi i loved liberty books.. goign there with Mom looking around books.. and then her buying me fresh from the press books was an experience i can never forget.. coming to think of it, i have had all the fun i could have asked for.. goign there in the evening.. surfing through the leaves of books, and then making a selection of what to buy was amazing.. then there was this...
