Wonders of Power Blackouts!!

Hii.. Long time..

Okay, whenever I mean to input here, something goes wrong, and that something is most prolly the electricity... :(

Karachi is suffering as usual from the load shedding, unannounced that is..No schedules, no notices, no timings, to hell with routines..

So yesterday, I decided to watch T.V!!!! for a change, gathered my dinner plate and went to the room, switched on the T.V, found a perfect channel, and *click*..*pitch darkness*...what could I do now..there went my plan..sigh..

Anywho, power was on in some minutes though..what could be better I began reading a novel I bought myself, the best seller "To Kill a Mockingbird" Amazing stuff it is.. I soemtiems wonder if people like Atticus exist..or they do?? And cute kids like Scout, when the book began I thought Scout was a guy, it sure seemed so... but.. :d it is novel of kids, but I dont reckon its for kids..But, the war b/w the white n black continues even today..

Ok, so while reading the novel, *click* there goes my light and fan. Being the kind of person I am, I litted a candle, and continued reading.. :D Well, obviously my eyes got strained so I stopped, and then power turned on..

And last but not the least, when I finally went to sleep, *click* yet again..sighs, I tuned to FM.. my fave timepass at night, there was a good show on unseen love, does it exist or not, the callers had funny answers, and it was a lot of fun..It was all about wrong numbers, anon smses, emails and chatting. Even I can't grasp the part where people who interact via wrong number get themselves entangled in love, and ofcourse upon meeting, the snowman which they built, they themselves break it..Why continue a relationship without any grounds, without any stand.. Finally when the power was back at abt past 2 a.m. I really went to dream land..

Seriously, these are the wonders of power blackouts.. :D

Dude, everytime I tell people this, they are like "WHAT!?!?!?!" but honestly, I cannot get myself to read "To Kill a Mockingbird." I have tried many times, but always stop at chapter 3 or so. I honestly just can't do it. The book has bored me to death in the very beginning, can't imagine what the whole novel is like! :hijabi:

Sarah, the first few pages where Scout goes on about her grand dad made it seem as if the narrator was a guy and also much older.. Once you overcome the first few pages you are bound to be interested in the book!

I got past the first few pages. But the story just seems really uninteresting to me. I don't know... I really need to get hooked in the beginning or else!

Serious Topic.. (kind of ..)

Hiii once again... ok, if you were asked how much do u detest when sumone hides something from you, delibrately, undelibrately, intentionally, unintentionally, and considering that that sumone is one of your really close associate.. on a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being not at all, to 10 being all the time, how would you rate your detest for them..???? For me, it ought to be 9.999999, but since these are discrete no.s hence, i wont be ratin it 9.9999999.. :D lol on a more serious note, since its coming from sumone close, i'd say 9.. not 10, coz of unintentional behaviour.. need a good response.. take care.. byeeee...
