Nail Polish Remover!! Kuch bhee mita sakta hay!!

hmm.. YEAH, this is about a bottle of nail polish remover that I decided to carry all the way from Karachi to Dubai.. Had its wonders stopped the day it reached Dubai, I wouldn't have dedicated a whole blog entry just to it.. but you know, its Pakistani material, wonder boy, I must say, not just me, I think my cousins also got the fever.. hehe..

Starting from the beginning, we were at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.. about 10:30 a.m. moving through the last scrutiny check when I came to know that no cosmetics are allowed in handbags.. dang.. the only thing my handbag consisted of was bangles and a cosmetic kit.. which contained my nail polish remover (npr). Okay.. i took out the cosmetic kit, and lo n behold, it had to come later with the baggage.. sighs.. anywho.. my cosmetic for some stupid reason also contained my funky jewellery.. ((so organised of me to put the two together.. lol..)) one that I specially got for just myself.. well, the big boss remover just ruined it.. somehow, on the way it spilled over the kundun beads, and took them off from the metallic frame.. All that I saw when I opened the kit were some beads that had fallen off the frame.. arghhh..

Then.. yes!!!! then.. this is not all... one day a piece of gum got stuck in someones hair and they were like bring your nail polish remover.. !!!!!! heheh..

And then, lastly.. I was working on the table, working with some sticky material... and it made the table cover too sticky.. you don't have to guess this.. I came up with the npr, and wiped the table clean, spik span.. hehe.. so thats about it..

I think it doesnt remove the nail polish so well.. every time I use it, I have to use it twice to make sure no enamel stays on my nails.. its an all purpose npr.. hehe have fun!!

Memoirs Reborn!!!

"Jiya, beta what do you think of this purple suit?," Zareena Begum asked her 18 year old Jiya. Jiya, who was busy ooh-ing and aah-ing at a mannequin drifted her her eyes away from the suit the mannequin wore to the purple sequinned suit her mother held in her hand. "Aww Mom, its awesome, btw, we never clash in our choices, do we??!!," Jiya replied immediately. And Zareena Begum beamed, "Still beta , its you who will be wearing it after marriage not me," she chuckled, and kissed her lovely and only child on the forehead. She was blessed, and Jiya thought she couldn't be more blessed. ****************************************************** "Jiya, did you try out that eye liner??," Zareena Begum was always worried about Jiya and her not so womanly ways. "Errmmm. No," Jiya hesitated. "But beta , you should try out, only one month left before I send you off to Asif's, what would Asif say??" "Mom, its easy..Asif?? he...

I Try!!

Back with a new post!! I was cleaning my drawers today just to find some old memoirs, like the other day I found my slam book.. I keep on dwellin in the past! Today, I found my old report cards.. Nice comments, some nice grades too.. The one thing that really caught my attention was the printed poem at the back of each report card, "Try Again" which goes like 'Tis a lesson you should heed, Try again.. If at first you don't succeed, Try again.. which reminded me of my own poem, "I Try!!", I thought of puttin it up here, to save it.. Here goes; Over the mountains, Across the seven skies, Where I haven't ever been, Above tops too high, I try, To let my voice, Be heard by you, But I'll never know, If you heard my cry, I try, Hope against hope, That I'll find you, If not in this world, Then somewhere in the sky, I try, To be the person, You wish to see me, I'll never do the worst, And bid you good bye, And yet, I try.
